Canal Tunnel Reflections

As I walked along the canal in Nottingham the sun made a brief appearance creating reflections on the brickwork. The play of light added an extra dimension which made me reach for the camera.
To emphasize the essential role that light plays in these images, here is the brickwork without any reflected light. This picture has only two points of interest - the uniformity of the brickwork and the patterns created by time and weathering. In contrast to the other images it looks a bit flat.
