Charcoal Drawing

11th October 2026
A charcoal drawing on hot-pressed watercolour paper, half sheet size. The larger surface helps capture the qualities of charcoal, allowing for more movement of the medium on the surface creating form, shape and value. The tools used include sticks of vine charcoal, a charcoal pencil for the odd fine line, a Koh i Noor eraser pencil, a chisel tip Tombow eraser, a kneadable eraser, a battery operated eraser, a blending stump and a soft soft pastel blender.
