High Peak Junction

The wharf buildings at High Peak Junction painted outdoors in gouache. The painting is approximately postcard size paper, perhaps too small for the subject. I also prepared a pink acrylic underpainting in advance but instead of it helping with the greenery, I found myself fighting the colour…a learning point for next time!
