Kombu Brush

These are a couple of quick digital paintings I completed in Procreate on my iPad. I was testing brushes from the Procreate library and I liked the dry marks created by the Kombu brush. While it’s categorised as an ‘oil brush’ I tend to disregard these labels preferring to choose a brush based on the finish it produces. My future task list includes learning about digital brush properties and creating my own but for now I’m happy to use the existing ones as there are lots to choose from…
