Longshaw Estate

One from last month, using oil paints outdoors for the first time at the Longshaw Estate in the Peak District. Whilst enjoyable, I found it hard to manage the changing light on the day. I subsequently waited for the painting to dry and made some tonal changes at home. As I think I say in most of my art posts, it’s all part of the learning experience!
