Southwell Minster

Following on from my previous post is another watercolour from late 2023. The scene here is Southwell Minster and more specifically the ruin of former Palace of the Archbishop of York. I particularly like the strong sense of light in this painting and the dry brush textures of the Palace’s stonework.
